Tom Masterson

Tom Masterson - Chief Engineer

From Sydney, Australia, Tom is a lover of the outdoors and all that goes with it – be it thunderstorms, wind, cold or warmth, and brilliant sunshine. From an early age he spent time in boats or near the sea either dinghy sailing, fishing, diving or beach swimming.   Apart from random travelling jobs and 2 years in computer technical support, Tom has spent most of his adult life working on boats.  Tom is proud of his work, both in the engine room and on deck, and he is  passionate about doing a job the correct way, once. Tom enjoy sports, particularly when any Australian team is playing.  He likes to keep fit, read, stay in touch with nature and appreciates the benefits of time spent with dogs.  Tom prides himself on treating those around him the way he would like to be treated, and thus makes an excellent addition to the Team P2 program.

Toni Corlett.jpg

Antonia (Toni) Corlett - Second Stewardess/Deckhand

Toni began sailing 17 years ago in her hometown of West Kirby, United Kingdom. She spent 5 years teaching watersports in the Med for the summers, and skiing the French and Austrian slopes in the winter, before moving into the superyacht industry last year. In her spare time, Toni loves to windsurf, wakeboard, ski and snowboard, and can't wait for the season to get underway on P2.

Chris Holt

Chris Holt - Mate

Coming from the shores of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, Chris truly has a love for the sea. Having delivered, relieved and crewed on 6 other Perini Navi’s, P2 makes an excellent addition to his resume.   Although yachting was never a planned career path for him, it is very much the road he is taking.   Shortly after completing his bachelor’s degree in information systems and technology, Chris set sail with a few friends on a Bristol 40 and headed to the Caribbean.  Five years later he has since sailed such places as the Pacific, Australia, Asia, and Indian Ocean to name a few.  When Chris is not sailing he can be found with a fly rod in his hand or snowboarding the slopes of Stowe, Vermont.

Previous Crew

Éliza Prévost

Éliza Prévost - Chef

Éliza is from Québec, Canada. She has been cooking for as long as she can remember and has been doing it professionally for 4 years. Her cooking is based on healthy, fresh and seasonal produce. She was introduced to sailing in 2003 when she visited New Zealand after finishing a degree in photography. In her free time Éliza likes to read about nutrition and world affairs and enjoys eating out to try the local specialities.

Tracey Bamforth

Tracy Bamforth - Stewardess

Aka Zimbabwe.  Raised in the Eastern Cape of South Africa, Tracey has grown up actively enjoying the great outdoors.  While family, friends and fun are at the top of her list, it was her love of water and related sports that saw the migration from London to the yachting industry where she is keen to 'sponge' up as much sailing knowledge as possible and combine her passion for photography, diving and the ocean into a new and exciting career. She continues to strive for model crew member status, but this goal remains slippery and elusive for this wild-spirited young sailor.

Samuel J MacCarthy

Samuel J MacCarthy - Mate

Born and raised in Sydney, Australia. Sam loves playing with boats, including and not limited to launching RIBs off swell outside the heads of Sydney, social harbour cruising, wake boarding at sunrise and especially racing sailing boats. Initially, he taught himself the basics of sailing on a 26ft coastal cruiser his mate bought as an inner city home. Then, he progressed into one design fleets which honed his sailing ability. He has been heavily involved in one design and sports keel boat racing with twilight and regatta racing in Australia. The highlights being the 2007 Rolex Sydney to Hobart as Mastman on a Sydney 38 , Skandia Geelong, and the Palma Vela 2009 as bowman on a Swan 68. He has worked as a commercial small boat skipper and in the hospitality game before yachting and is looking forward to the adventures P2 has in store.
